Getting Started

Mutire Cloud overview

Compute and domains on Mutire Cloud.

Mutire Cloud provides virtual and dedicated compute and domain registration for production workloads on Mutire infrastructure.

This documentation covers our core products: Mutire Virtual Compute (MVC), Mutire Dedicated Compute (MDC), and domain services. For pricing questions, contact support or use the inquiry form.

Recommended first steps

  1. Choose compute: MVC for elastic virtual machines, or MDC for single-tenant dedicated servers.
  2. Register or transfer domains if your workload needs public DNS.
  3. Review compute pricing and select a region before provisioning.
  4. Contact support@mutire.com for architecture or pricing guidance.

Compute

Mutire Virtual Compute (MVC)

Elastic Mutire Cloud virtual machines with hourly billing and five instance families.

Mutire Virtual Compute (MVC) delivers fully virtualised instances with dedicated vCPU and RAM allocations on Mutire Cloud. MVC suits web applications, APIs, development environments, databases, and analytics platforms that need rapid provisioning and flexible sizing.

Instances are organised into five families: mvc-t (burstable), mvc-g (general purpose), mvc-c (compute optimised), mvc-r (memory optimised), and mvc-x (high memory with local NVMe). Each family offers multiple tier sizes from small development tiers through large enterprise footprints.

MVC runs on Mutire Cloud virtual compute with live migration on supported production tiers. Billing is hourly while an instance is running. Stopped instances are not charged for compute resources.

When to choose MVC

  • You need fast provisioning and the ability to resize without hardware lead times.
  • Workloads tolerate shared physical infrastructure with guaranteed virtual resources.
  • You want transparent hourly pricing with optional reserved capacity discounts.
  • You are building cloud-native apps, CI/CD runners, or horizontally scaled services.

Provisioning workflow

  1. Select an MVC family that matches your CPU-to-memory ratio (mvc-t through mvc-x).
  2. Choose instance size based on vCPU, RAM, and network requirements.
  3. Select region, operating system image, and SSH key or console access method.
  4. Attach storage and configure firewall rules before first boot.
  5. Validate connectivity, apply patches, and register the instance in your monitoring stack.

Mutire Dedicated Compute (MDC)

Single-tenant bare metal with guaranteed bandwidth and hardware isolation.

Mutire Dedicated Compute (MDC) provides entire physical servers dedicated to your workloads. There is no shared hypervisor, which removes noisy-neighbour effects and delivers predictable disk and CPU performance for hosting, production applications, and infrastructure clusters.

MDC families align with deployment stages: entry dedicated for customer-facing hosting, production dedicated for business-critical apps, and infrastructure dedicated for cluster nodes and storage-heavy platforms.

Every MDC server includes five IPv4 addresses, additional IPv4 space (CIDR /29) at no extra cost, 1000 Mbit/s guaranteed bandwidth, hardware RAID options, built-in firewall and Anti-DDoS protection, and a 100% uptime SLA on dedicated hosting tiers.

When to choose MDC

  • You require full hardware isolation for compliance or performance reasons.
  • You run hosting panels, game servers, or latency-sensitive production APIs.
  • You need guaranteed network throughput and dedicated RAID storage.
  • You are building private cloud or Kubernetes clusters on bare metal nodes.

Included with dedicated servers

  • Five IPv4 addresses per server with expanded /29 allocation available.
  • 1000 Mbit/s guaranteed bandwidth.
  • Firewall and Anti-DDoS protection.
  • Enterprise-grade CPUs, ECC memory, and hot-swap storage options.
  • Flexible OS choices with custom configuration on request.

Compute pricing and billing

MVC and MDC hourly rates are published on the compute pricing page. Monthly estimates assume 730 billable hours per month. Egress policies and included bandwidth vary by instance tier. Review the pricing table footnotes before forecasting spend.

Reserved capacity and savings plans (1-, 12-, or 36-month commitments) can reduce MVC hourly rates on production families. Contact support for a tailored proposal.

Domains

Domain registration

Register domain names through Mutire Cloud. Search availability across popular TLDs, review per-year pricing, and complete checkout in the client portal. Registration includes DNS management so you can point records at MVC, MDC, or external endpoints.

Domain pricing lists registration, renewal, and transfer rates without hidden checkout fees. Premium or restricted TLDs may require additional verification steps as mandated by the registry.

Registration workflow

  1. Search for your desired name using domain search.
  2. Add the domain to cart and confirm registrant contact details (WHOIS accuracy is required).
  3. Complete payment. Registration typically completes within minutes for standard TLDs.
  4. Configure DNS A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, and TXT records in the DNS panel.
  5. Enable auto-renewal to avoid accidental expiry.

Domain transfer

Transfer existing domains to Mutire Cloud to consolidate billing and DNS management. You retain your remaining registration period. An additional year is added per registry transfer policies when applicable.

Before initiating a transfer, unlock the domain at your current registrar, obtain the authorisation (EPP) code, and confirm the admin contact email can receive approval messages.

Transfer checklist

  • Domain is older than 60 days (ICANN policy for most gTLDs).
  • Registrar lock is disabled.
  • Valid EPP/auth code obtained from the losing registrar.
  • WHOIS admin email is monitored for transfer approval links.
  • DNS TTL lowered 24 to 48 hours before cutover if changing nameservers.

DNS management

Mutire provides authoritative DNS hosting for domains registered or transferred to the platform. Use the DNS editor to manage records, configure mail routing, and publish verification TXT records for TLS certificates and third-party services.

For high-availability setups, combine DNS with health-checked endpoints on MVC or load balancers. Document your record change process to avoid accidental outages during deployments.

Common record types

  • A / AAAA: point hostnames to IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.
  • CNAME: alias one hostname to another (not on apex in standard DNS).
  • MX: define mail exchangers and priority for email delivery.
  • TXT: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and domain verification strings.
  • NS: delegate subdomains to other nameserver sets when required.
